Cash App is a mobile payment service app developed by Square, Inc., which allow users to transfer money to one another using a mobile phone app. As of February 18, 2018, the service recorded 7 million active users.

In March 2015, Square introduced Square Cash for businesses, which includes the ability for individuals, organizations, and business owners to use a unique username to send and receive money, know as $ Cashtag. In January 2018, Cash App expanded and started supporting bitcoin trading.

The Cash Card is black in color and customizable card. Users are asked to sign their name on the mobile app. The signature will then be printed into the card and then sent to the user. Square Cash also introduced their unique username, known as a $cashtag. It allows users to transfer and request money from different users by entering such username.

And now from March 7, 2018, the Cash App supports ACH direct deposits.

How to activate cash app card

To activate your Cash Card using the QR code that arrived with it:

  1. Click the Cash Card tab on your Cash App home screen
  2. Click the image of your Cash Card
  3. Click Activate Cash Card
  4. Click OK when your Cash App asks to use your camera
  5. Line your camera up with the QR code until it comes into focus

How To activate your Cash App Card By QR Code:

  1. Tap the Cash Card tab on your Cash App home screen
  2. Then, click Activate
  3. Then, Help
  4. Select Use CVV Instead
  5. Enter the CVV code and expiration date of your new Cash Card

  • 1,000 USD in 24 hours
  • 1,000 USD in 7 days period
  • 1,250 USD in 30 days period
